  • We're Just Getting Started

    As we approach the end of the first semester, it's a good time to reflect on our accomplishments and plan for the future. We started the year strong, welcoming a solid group of freshmen into our program. Our PCC Medical Terminology course also proved to be a success, with students gaining proficiency in the language of medicine—an essential skill for their future careers in healthcare.     As we approach the end of this semester, the Center for Linguistic Exploration reflects on an exciting and productive period for our students. They have actively engaged in various projects and activities to enhance their language proficiency and cultural understanding. This semester's highlight was the introduction of AI-powered projects explicitly tailored for La Salle Chinese 1 students.     As the first semester ends, I’m encouraged by all the different kinds of portfolio pieces that have been completed and continue to be in production. The center has hit its stride, and we have several new members, including freshmen and upperclassmen.
