New Girl's Volleyball Head Coach: Maurice Torres
We are happy to welcome Maurice Torres to our Lancer family as the new Girl's Volleyball Head Coach! Maurice has extensive experience in the sport, having played professional volleyball overseas for 9 years for top teams in Poland, Italy, Japan, Turkey, and Puerto Rico. He was part of the Puerto Rico Men's Volleyball National Team for 7 years, serving as team captain for the past 2 years. Academic Decathlon Brings Home Medals
In early February, La Salle's Academic Decathlon team competed in their annual ten-discipline competition. The Lancers brought 35 students, the largest contingent, to the Private/Charter School tournament in Woodland Hills. The Lancer Scholars won an amazing 92 individual medals as well as winning seven team awards, including the Gold Medal for first place in Division IV. John Koehler ‘23 and Tim Liu ‘24 both won seven individual medals in this year's competition, the topic being the American Revolution. It was a very impressive medal haul for our Lancer Scholars!

Exchange Students from France Visit La Salle
La Salle's intercultural exchange program is thriving, providing students with a truly exceptional and enriching experience. Last month, our community was excited to host students from Taiwan's Global Elite Project for Youth, and now we welcome Vianney Gossens, Lucas Fraile, Alban Simon, Alberic Dupin-Desserrey, and Léon Brocart, five French students from Saint-Denis International School, accompanied by Mr. Martin Chatagnon, Director of International Programs at the school.
